The Staten Island Power Squadron held its annual P/C Frank R. Corrado Annual Holiday Brunch at the Great Kills Yacht Club on November 27th. Over 100 Presents and $4,600 was donated to the children of the Staten Island Chapter of the New York Foundling Hospital.
The Squadron would like to thank the Great Kills Yacht club for the donation of their facility, Ann & Larry Morgan along with Don & Margaret Heap for organizing the event and our Chefs Hank Mertens, Henry Mertens and Steven Corrado. We would also like to thank Anna Zarr for the donation of the beautiful quilt that was raffled off, and to all the squadron members who donated their time and efforts to make this event possible.
Over one hundred people attended along with a photographer from the Staten Island Advance and Robin Sanders a Cameraman from NY 1. A surprise visit from Santa Claus AKA Brian Heap was the highlight of the brunch for the children in attendance.
